This is an astonishing vintage Navajo silver bowguard. This huge impressive, curved 3-7/8” x 2-3/4” silver shield is home to both a huge stunning turquoise and a vibrant coral stone. The stones are separated with large dual silver starbursts and surrounded with decorative handstampings and dimensional silver verticals. Set at either side of the shield we have triple 1” silver repousse buttons. The width of the black leather bowguard is about 4” and wraps around 10-1/4” in length, with the black leather tie for adjustability. The largest stone measures around 1-1/8" x 1/2". Sterling silver. Sturdy 152 grams.
